- 2005 Geneva Motor Show - Concepts
The Geneva Motor Show displayed significant concept vehicles from many major manufacturers. In a continuing trend, most concepts were thinly disguised versions of upcoming production cars. Examples include the Honda Civic 3-door hatchback, Cadillac BLS sedan, and Dodge Caliber 5-door sedan. Other manufacturers showed more fanciful cars such as the Covini Engineering C6W, a 6-wheel sports car. Bertone displayed the Cadillac-based Villa, a large sedan with transparent doors, and a spacious interior. Rinspeed revealed the Senso, a futuristic engineering exercise that runs on natural gas. Renault introduced the compact Zoe coupe, which featured minivan-style sliding doors., and an unmistakable scowling front fascia. Many more intriguing concepts from European boutique manufacturers and design houses were scattered about the show floor.
