- 2005 Geneva Motor Show - Models for Worldwide Production
Geneva is a great opportunity to see new models that will be sold in major markets globally. Exotic and mass market cars are introduced here under the spotlights. A rare appearance of the Bugatti EB16.4 Veyron is a hopeful sign that this super exotic will finally make it into production. The Ferrari F430 Spider has been seen in many auto magazines already, but this is the first opportunity for the public to see it. Lexus showed the larger, sleeker IS sedan, which should prove more popular than the current model. The latest Mazda Miata shares the unmistakable styling of its beloved predecessor. Mercedes-Benz expanded its product line with the B-Class 5-door hatchback. VW displayed the understated new Passat with none of the expected fanfare. Finally, Rolls-Royce unveiled the ultra-exclusive long wheelbase Phantom for the billionaires of the world.
