- 2008 Chicago Auto Show
The Chicago Auto Show (CAS) has a long and storied past. Held at Chicago's sprawling McCormick Place convention center, the modern show now spans 1.3 million square feet. With such a vast showcase, automakers can bring their full line of vehicles. In fact, the CAS will have over 1,000 cars will be on display, unrivalled by any other auto show in the US. Even though McCormick Place is a superb venue, the CAS typically has far fewer new vehicle introductions than the NAIAS (Detroit Auto Show), NYIAS (New York Auto Show), or even the LA Auto Show. Nonetheless, for the public, the CAS is probably the best show to see the entire vehicle lineup of every major manufacturer.
