The 2003 Honda Pilot SUV was shown in pre-production form at the 2002 NAIAS (Detroit). The 8-passenger Pilot features a 3.5L V-6 standard. Honda claims the Pilot has the largest interior in its class. The AWD (VTM-4) system features an electronically locking differential for maximum traction. Minimum ground clearance is 8 inches, according to Honda. The Pilot goes on sale in summer 2002.
