The Jeep Gladiator concept is a modern-day Jeep Scrambler. Although Jeep used to make trucks, they haven't really had a truck offering since the early nineties. Gladiator looks like a good way to bring a truck-like product back to the lineup. The Gladiator's bed measures 4 ft. x 5 ft. 8 in. An adjustable midgate allows cargo to intrude in to the cab. The cab has a canvas roof and removable doors. The concept is powered by a 2.8L 4-cylinder diesel and features a 6-speed manual and a part-time transfer case. Gladiator provides a good blend of Jeep capability and practicality in an appealing package.
