The Meta One is part technology showcase, part glimpse of an upcoming Mercury product. The body of the Meta One clearly suggests the styling of the upcoming Mercury crossover that is based ont he Ford Freestyle. Virtually everything else is a showcase of safety, powertrain and entertainment technology. Under the hood is a hybrid diesel V6 that is PZEV compliant. Advanced safety technology includes a lane departure system and a collision braking system. The interior contains a 15-speaker stereo, a Wi-Fi portal, and a re-configurable instrument panel display.
