An icon since 1970, the Z is the epitome of outstanding price/performance. For around $27k, the base Z offers a 287hp 3.5L V6, 6-speed manual, fully independent suspension, rear-wheel drive and eye-catching styling that does not detract from the performance image. Higher trim levels add more performance-oriented goodies like a limited-slip differential and Brembo brakes and the top of the line Track model is now tweaked to provide 300hp. Some cushier features are offered like a leather interior, automatic transmission and DVD-based navigation system. The only knock on the 350Z is that the interior should feel a little more solid to the touch -- but chances are you won't notice.
35th Anniversary and Track editions to feature 18 in wheels and 300 horsepower. Standard tire pressure monitoring system. Heated outside mirrors. Updated navigation system. Improved clutch action. Improved downshifting on automatic transmission.
