The Sportage is Kia's entry-level compact SUV vehicle. Where the original Sportage was a body-on-frame truck-based SUV, the modern Sportage is more of a crossover vehicle. Available in FWD and AWD configurations, Sportage offers a choice of 4-cylinder or 6-cylinder engines. While not as handsome as its larger sibling the Sorento it does offer a fair amount of utility. The rear tailgate features flip-up glass. The rear seats fold flat creating a long load floor, and the front passenger seat can fold flat for hauling lengthy items. Priced from $16,000, Sportage offers a fair amount of value.
