The Lexus IS is a compact luxury sedan that effectively competes with models like the BMW 3-Series and Mercedes-Benz C-Class. With pricing as low as $35,000, the IS is also one of the entry-level models for the Lexus brand. The IS range includes 3 distinct powertrains. The base model is the IS250 which is powered by a small-displacement V6 engine rated at 204-bhp. The IS350 features a more standard 3.5l V6 which ups the horsepower to 306-bhp.
