The 5-Series is all-new for the 2017 model year. The seventh-generation 5-Series has updated styling and dimensions that are within an inch of its predecessor. In the US, two models are offered at launch. The 530i powered by a 2.0l turbocharged four-cylinder and the 540i powered by a 3.0l inline-6. Both are available in RWD and xDrive AWD.
