The Honda Fit is a small five-passenger, five-door wagon with a surprising amount of interior room for its diminutive size. The Fit's maneuverable size and large flexible interior are perfect for urban dwellers. Compared to the Honda Civic sedan, the Fit is almost 20 inches shorter in length, boasts similar combined legroom and passenger volume. The large rear cargo area measures 16.6 cubic feet which grows to 52.7 cubic feet with the rear seats folded. This is enough room to rival smaller crossovers like the Hyundai Tucson. The rear seat cushions also fold up creating a large rear seat area for bikes or similar tall objects. The standard 1.5l four-cylinder engine is more powerful than other similarly sized units on the market and can be paired with either a six-speed manual or continuously variable CVT transmission. Like other vehicles in this segment, the Fit utilizes cost-cutting features like rear drum brakes but includes luxuries like Bluetooth connectivity, a backup camera, air conditioning and power equipment on all models.
