The BMW 5-Series receives a mid-cycle update for 2021. Exterior changes include a larger grille and redesigned adaptive LED headlights in the front and updated taillight and exhaust finishers in the rear. Due to the styling changes the 5-Series has grown 1.2 in. in length. Six-cylinder models now employ mild-hybrid technology to increase fuel economy. Power on 530e models is up due to changes in the eDrive system. Other powertrain options remain unchanged.
