The e-tron GT is a new battery electric Audi model for 2022. The e-tron is a large fastback sedan with proportions like those of the A7 or A8. Power is provided by a 235-hp electric motor on the front axle paired with a 429-hp rear motor on the base GT. The combined output is 469 horsepower and 464 lb-ft of torque. The higher performance RS model fits a larger rear motor resulting in higher net performance figures or 590 horsepower and 612 lb-ft of torque. Mechanically related to the Porsche Taycan, the Audi also employs a two-speed transmission with a taller second gear for highway driving.
